Solar Photovoltaic System Design. (3 Credits) Develop fundamental solar photovoltaic system design skills with emphasis on siting solar PV systems, National Electrical Code Article 690, roof analysis, wind loading, weight loading, array withdrawal forces, sliding forces, 1- line electrical diagrams, system grounding, off-grid systems, optimizing system efficiency, and troubleshooting.
