What You'll Do Lead Complex Consulting Engagements Serve as the technical program lead on CFD consulting projects, owning scope, schedule, execution strategy, and delivery qualityBreak down complex problems into structured workstreams and coordinate multi-engineer contributionsDrive technical decision-making aligned with customer objectives and best practicesIdentify risks, manage trade-offs, and adjust execution strategies as needed Provide Simulation Consulting Services Work directly with customers to define analysis approaches, success criteria, and deliverablesDevelop project scopes, proposals, timelines, and cost estimatesPerform CFD analyses across individual and team-based engagementsDeliver actionable design recommendations to support engineering decisionsPrepare high-quality technical reports and executive summaries Deliver Advanced Technical Support Provide expert-level support for ANSYS Fluent and CFX, including complex or escalated issuesServe as a subject matter expert in advanced CFD and industry-specific applications Support Pre-Sales & Solution Development Partner with account managers to identify and develop high-value customer solutionsLead discovery discussions and help define simulation strategiesDeliver technical presentations and software demonstrationsIdentify opportunities to expand customer engagement and grow accounts Mentor and Develop Engineers Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineersConduct model reviews and deliver structured feedbackContribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement Provide Technical Training Deliver ANSYS training courses at customer sites, virtually, and at SimuTech locations across the U.S. and CanadaHelp customers build proficiency in CFD tools and methodologies What You'll Bring Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required; Master's or PhD preferredSignificant experience in CFD consulting or applied simulationProven experience leading projects and coordinating engineering teamsExperience working in customer-facing or consulting environments Skills Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methodsDemonstrated expertise in one or more CFD domains (e.g., multiphase flow, combustion, turbomachinery, aerodynamics, FSI, heat transfer)Advanced experience with ANSYS Fluent and/or CFXExperience with meshing tools (Workbench Meshing, ICEM, Fluent Meshing, Hypermesh, etc.)Ability to lead complex technical projects, including planning, estimation, execution, and risk managementAbility to manage scope, timelines, and cross-functional contributorsStrong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to support pre-sales activities and drive software and services growthProven mentorship and team development capabilitiesStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and as a technical leader within teams Additional Benefits Short Term DisabilityLong Term Disability401k plan with employer matchLimited Flexible Spending AccountLife InsurancePaid Time OffProfessional development assistanceReferral programTuition reimbursementBonus plan
