Job Description

The Digital Workspace Platforms Engineering Manager leads the engineering strategy, architecture, and lifecycle management of Deloitte's enterprise digital workspace platforms, including end-user computing, M365, collaboration tooling, and productivity services. This role is responsible for translating platform strategy into scalable, reliable, and secure engineering solutions that enable more than 150,000 US practitioners to work seamlessly across hybrid environments. The Sr. Manager oversees a team of platform engineers, drives technical roadmaps, governs platform standards, and ensures deep integration with adjacent enterprise systems including identity, security, and service management. Success is measured by platform engineering quality, system reliability, deployment velocity, and the tangible impact delivered to the practitioner experience. Recruiting for this role ends on October 31, 2026 Work You'll Do As a Digital Workspace Platforms Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Lead the engineering design, build, and lifecycle management of enterprise digital workspace platforms including M365, endpoint management, and collaboration tooling
  • Develop and maintain platform engineering roadmaps aligned to CTO strategy, practitioner experience goals, and enterprise architecture standards
  • Lead ongoing reviews and refreshes of technology standards
  • Manage existing and new external vendor relationships
  • Oversee a team of platform engineers, providing technical direction, performance management, and professional development
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, configuration baselines, and quality assurance practices across all workspace platforms, ensuring scalable, long-term interoperability with systems
  • Drive platform integration with enterprise systems including Entra ID, ITSM, zero-trust security frameworks, and observability tooling
  • Partner with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure platforms meet compliance, scalability, and resilience requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept efforts to continuously advance the firm's digital workspace engineering capabilities The successful candidate would possess these skills:
