Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient planning strategies within our manufacturing facility. This role requires expertise in various engineering disciplines, including quantum engineering, robotics, and plastics injection molding, to optimize production processes and ensure high-quality output. Responsibilities Develop detailed project plans and schedules for manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices. Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify schematics for production layouts. Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in design specifications. Oversee the integration of robotics and automation into assembly lines to enhance productivity. Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, focusing on mechanical knowledge and CAM programming. Monitor production performance metrics and recommend adjustments as necessary. Provide technical support and training to team members on new technologies and processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in quantum engineering preferred. Familiarity with robotics systems and their application in manufacturing environments. Experience with plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Proficiency in CAM programming techniques. Solid understanding of assembly line operations and optimization strategies. Expertise in AutoCAD for creating detailed schematics. Knowledge of GD&T standards for quality assurance in engineering designs. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
