The On-DeviceMachine Learning (ODML) team in Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning (GGML) Softwareis seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive high-performance ML frameworks and OSfeatures that make it easier for developers inside and outside Apple to adopt and acceleratemachine learning across our products and ecosystems.

The On-Device Machine Learning team at Apple is responsible for enabling the Research toProduction lifecycle of cutting edge machine learning models that power magical userexperiences on Apple's hardware and software platforms. We support ML engineers andscientists through technologies that combine the latest in ML innovation and deep integrationwith Apple silicon and infrastructure, unlocking the creation of customer experiences thatsurprise and delight! Description We're looking for a strong Engineering Program Manager with a proven record of building andmaintaining complex software platforms, tools, and processes that deliver new end-to-endexperiences on-device. You will partner with teams across Apple and deliver some of the mostambitious capabilities for executing machine-learned features on Apple hardware.

We wantto talk to you! Minimum Qualifications 6+ years in a role leading cross-functional teams in product/project/program development. BS/MS (EE/CS/CE), or a related technical field. Proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering products or platforms involving machine learning, data processing, and data analytics tools at Internet scale, including experience with ML training (e.g. train/test, evaluation, measurement), data processing pipelines, large-scale and high-throughput backend services, and/or user-facing applications that use those services and deliver measurable business or product value. Ability to engage with business partners, translate needs into technical roadmaps, and deliver and effectively communicate and partner with executive stakeholders. Passionate about delivering the best user experience to internal users by actively surveying user needs and translating requirements into a feature roadmap. Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions. Self-motivated, independent, and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (real-time) triage, prioritize, and lead cross-functional teams under pressure. Effective and clear communication and presentation skills, written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications Prior program management or engineering experience in Machine Learning training or inference technologies. Experience using objectives and key results to drive product outcomes. Experience building technical communities across organizational boundaries. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
