As the Technical Principal III, you will perform duties across programs and business pursuits by providing an in-depth understanding of disciplined engineering processes and SIGINT subject matter knowledge. You will oversee product and/or project's conception, design, integration, test and delivery. This position requires support for business development and program execution activities. This is a technical leadership role where you are expected to effectively work with and communicate with company executives, customers, project engineers, program managers, finance, contracts, HR, IT and security. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is part of our ISR Division in Folsom, CA. This role will be based in Folsom, CA or will be remote with travel as required. In this role, the essential functions are: Provide guidance and oversight to multiple engineering teams developing SIGINT software technology products. Conceive and create technical software system architectures and oversee the development of those architectures. Contribute on programs (Trade Studies, System and Software Design, Risk Management & Mitigation Plans). Support Voyager product marketing and business development by contributing to new business capture (customer meetings, whitepapers, briefings) and customer engagement activities. Support proposal generation (technical solution, cost, and management). Assist the ISR CTO with product strategy, IRAD planning and technical direction for the ISR organization. Assist project engineers with developing plans and executing schedules to closure. Work closely with program management, lead engineers and executive management to identify and provide solutions to technically challenging issues related to ISR SW Development. Lead technical design activities and ensure all technical hurdles are resolved to deliver a high-quality ISR SW product roadmap. Deliver end-to-end solutions using innovative approaches to complex design problems. Act as a core business leader for Voyager by mentoring, building trust, modeling positive behaviors, building customer support within the Voyager engineering teams and extending outward to all customers. Assist with engineering recruiting, growing the skills and talent base.
Requirements Include:
Bachelor's Degree in the field of Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college/university. Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in SIGINT related engineering for DoD related programs. Extensive working knowledge and practical experience in designing, developing, integrating, testing, fielding and sustaining Airborne COMINT and ELINT systems from the apertures through the ground processing components.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in the field of Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college/university. Current SCI Clearance. Travel, Physical and/or
Government Mandated Requirements:
Ability to travel approximately 10-25% of the time for on-site integration and customer meetings. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Clearance. The good faith base salary range for this role is $238,160 - $292,400 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future. This position is incentive plan eligible.
