A Director of Engineering is in charge of engineering teams for an organization, involved in all engineering planning, execution and review as part of the senior leadership. Works with other teams such as sales and customer support to ensure success of engineering projects.

We are seeking a hands-on HPC and AI Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers while driving the design, validation, deployment, and support of advanced AI and HPC solutions. This role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, and team management in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HPC and AI engineers and technical specialists. Establish engineering priorities, project plans, and resource allocation. Promote engineering excellence, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. Help define Exxact's HPC and AI infrastructure roadmap and technical strategy.
HPC & AI
Infrastructure Engineering Lead the design, validation, deployment, and support of advanced computing solutions including servers, workstations, storage, networking, and clusters. Drive benchmarking, performance tuning, scalability testing, and system optimization efforts. Evaluate emerging technologies and develop technical recommendations for future products and solutions. Establish validation procedures, testing methodologies, and engineering best practices. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, competitive offerings, and best practices in HPC and AI infrastructure. Customer & Business Engagement Collaborate with sales and other teams to develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives. Serve as a senior technical advisor during customer engagements, proof-of-concepts, and solution reviews. Support key customer escalations and provide guidance on complex technical issues. Work closely with production and operations teams to improve system deployment, testing, software installation, and quality assurance processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of Engineering Manager experience in similar industry. Strong knowledge of GPU computing, cluster architecture, storage, and networking technologies Experience with NVIDIA and AMD computing platforms. Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams. Self-driven leader with strong organizational and project management skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
COMPENSATION
$160,000 - $180,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
