Job Description Engineering Project Manager Provides leadership for the development and execution of engineering projects focused on infrared cameras, components, and accessory products. Responsibilities Plan and manage multiple engineering projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring high-quality product development. Drive project milestones, budgets, deliverables, and quality objectives while communicating status through established processes, tools, and metrics. Maintain active risk management plans for schedule, technical, supplier, and program-related issues; proactively engage stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks. Provide leadership and direction to engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle in accordance with the Design Control Process. Partner with Product Management to define project requirements and manage changes to approved baselines. Coordinate with internal teams and company leadership to achieve development objectives and manufacturing goals. Support project planning efforts, including resource allocation, prioritization, scheduling, forecasting, and estimation. Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets. Support proposal activities and maintain project scope estimates for future development opportunities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of project or program management experience leading cross-functional technical teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Experience with Lean Development methodologies is a plus. Formal project management training, PMP certification, MBA, or similar advanced training is preferred.
