Job Description

Key Responsibilities Build & Development Execution Manage and coordinate all aspects of development builds, including: Development schedules Build matrices Bills of Materials (BOMs) Entry and exit criteria Ensure readiness of materials, tooling, documentation, and resources Drive timely execution of prototype and development builds Cross-Functional Program Coordination Lead and facilitate regular project meetings with key stakeholders, including: Product Development (PD) Design Engineering (DE) Testing / Reliability Operations and Quality Supply Chain and external vendors Maintain alignment on scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables across teams Materials & Supply Chain Management Oversee material sourcing and track lead times, including: Materials In House (MIH) Tooling In House (TIH) Ensure timely availability of materials for builds and development schedules Manage inventory of development materials and consumables Vendor & Financial Management Handle vendor quotations and cost tracking Drive purchase order (PO) creation, processing, and approvals Monitor vendor invoicing and ensure timely payments Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams and manufacturing vendors Prototype Logistics & Packaging Manage prototype shipment logistics, including tracking systems and serial number assignment Ensure packaging readiness for transportation, testing, and evaluation Issue Management & Risk Mitigation Track and resolve engineering, quality, and supply chain issues during development Escalate risks and align stakeholders on mitigation strategies Maintain clear documentation of decisions, actions, and overall program status OEM & Facility Coordination Coordinate with OEM partners throughout development phases Collaborate with onsite facility teams to address issues affecting builds Ensure development spaces, equipment, and infrastructure are adequately supported Inventory & Compliance Oversee secure storage and handling of materials Ensure proper disposal of sensitive or confidential materials in compliance with company policies Preferred Qualifications Experience in softgoods development (textiles, sewn products, flexible materials) Background in managing cross-functional engineering teams Familiarity with prototype build stages (EVT, DVT, PVT, or similar) Experience working with global OEMs and manufacturing vendors Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience 5-8 years of experience in project or program management Proven track record of managing development programs for engineered consumer products Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
