What they do
An Engineering Program Manager provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company's products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.

Job Description
In this role you will:
- Address headcount challenges and resource constraints
- Manage control account performance and elevate concerns/issues to program management and/or other impacted stakeholders
- Identify risks and opportunities and implement approved actions
- Manage resources, analyze trends, and develop analytics to ensure credible schedules and Estimates at Complete (EACs)
- Identify and manage control accounts' schedule health and critical path
- Analyze and report variances and proactively implement corrective actions
- Ensure all EVM required documentation is complete and meets compliance requirements for responsible control accounts
- Ensure current CAM certification and training is always maintained The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational and project implementations while managing schedules, budgets, and cost constraints
- Experience acting Control Account Manager (CAM) or CAM delegate
- Working knowledge or experience supporting proposal or Basis of Estimate (BOE) activities
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Open Plan)
- Experience with earned value management principles and variance analysis
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex systems development environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products with advanced Excel skills ## Desired Skills

- Experience coordinating with multiple engineering functions

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
