For nearly 100 years, this heavy civil construction firm has been a solid leader in site work, earthwork, utilities, drainage, and roadway projects throughout Connecticut and New England. We are looking for a talented and motivated Estimator/Project Manager who can analyze drawings and specifications of complex heavy civil projects and craft estimates for time, cost and labor to create winning bids. This position will also have project management overlap and will manage projects from award through closeout. Candidates should have 5-10+ years in heavy civil estimating and/or project management. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field. Strong knowledge of site work, infrastructure and utilities. Ability to read plans and specs. Excellent analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with Excel, Agtek, On-Screen Takeoff, Construction Link. Direct experience with State of Connecticut DAS and CTDOT bidding requirements, specifications, and final bid preparation is a plus. Competitive Salary and Benefits Package!
