Direct Hire We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering function for an aerospace manufacturing organization specializing in build-to-print precision machining and complex electro-mechanical assembly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Provide hands-on engineering support on the production floor.
• Develop manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, tooling, and fixturing.
• Support CNC machining, setup optimization, tooling, and cycle-time improvements.
• Support complex mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support NPI and new program launches from prototype/FAI through production.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, cost reduction, and automation.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
• Manage ERP/MRP manufacturing data, routings, work centers, and labor standards.
• Track Manufacturing Engineering performance metrics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership/management experience.
• Aerospace, defense, precision machining, or complex manufacturing experience preferred.
• CNC machining and/or complex assembly experience.
• Build-to-print manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, tooling, and fixturing.
• ERP/MRP experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving experience.
• AS9100 experience preferred.

PREFERRED

• CNC programming/CAM experience.
• Automation/advanced manufacturing experience.
• Manufacturing costing, estimating, and labor standards.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plan experience.

Pay:

$150,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
