Engineer IV - Facilities & Maintenance Marriott International, Inc., a global leader in hospitality, seeks an Engineer IV to lead complex facilities and maintenance operations across our hotel properties. In this senior role, you will oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety, while driving preventive maintenance, capital projects, and energy efficiency initiatives. You will mentor engineering teams, manage vendors, ensure regulatory and brand-standard compliance, and partner with hotel leadership to protect guest comfort and safety. Responsibilities Lead complex engineering and maintenance projects across hotel facilities, ensuring reliability, safety, and guest comfort. Oversee operation and optimization of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement plans. Supervise and mentor engineering and maintenance staff, promoting Marriott's people-first culture. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and Marriott brand standards. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and on-site project execution. Analyze building performance data to drive energy efficiency and cost savings. Collaborate with operations and front-of-house leaders to minimize guest impact during maintenance work. Prepare and manage engineering budgets, forecasts, and technical documentation. Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability initiatives in facilities operations.
