Description:
You will be the Functional Manufacturing Engineer Senior Manager for the Line of Business (LOB) Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for enabling the strategic technical direction for every MFC program, site, supplier network, tooling portfolio, and special project initiative—delivering high performance, on‑budget solutions that keep our mission‑critical systems flying. What You Will Be Doing As the Functional Manufacturing Engineer Senior Manager, you will be responsible for defining a unified LOB manufacturing engineering strategy, anticipating and mitigating high impact technical risks, and ensuring disciplined budget and schedule execution. You will partner with Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Quality to align priorities, accelerate delivery, and champion cutting‑edge manufacturing technologies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Developing and driving a cohesive engineering roadmap for the entire MFC portfolio. Owning budget stewardship and schedule integrity for all initiatives and reporting progress to senior leadership. Championing cross‑functional collaboration with Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Quality to accelerate delivery. Leading, mentoring, and developing high‑performing, geographically dispersed engineering teams; fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Why Join Us We're looking for a collaborative, results‑driven leader who thrives in a fast‑paced defense aerospace environment. The ideal candidate has a proven record of guiding large, multi‑location engineering groups, delivering cost reductions, schedule acceleration, and quality improvements across multiple programs. You excel at influencing senior stakeholders, customers, and suppliers without relying on direct authority, and you are passionate about developing talent and building empowered teams. In this role you will shape the functional strategy for a critical MFC organization, work with state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing technologies, and directly impact the delivery of mission‑critical systems to our customers. If you are ready to lead technical excellence and create an environment where high performance thrives, we encourage you to apply.
