Posted 05/2026 Job Description Job Summary Need to have 10 years or more of Experience running installs on Avionics Equipment (preferably GARMIN) on all types of aircraft. Do not have to have all 10 yrs exp on Garmin installs but that is most of what they do so candidate needs to have some working knowledge of this system Need to be able to Manage a group of 10 or more people and be hands on
  • not looking for someone to sit behind the desk they have to want to be hands on
  • work on the plane with these guys After they install the equipment they need to be able to trouble shoot any issues
  • guide and lead their team to solutions Pay is based on the experience (Garmin) in the aviation industry A Director of Avionics and Installations leads teams responsible for integrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting aircraft electronic, navigation, and communication systems.
This executive-level or senior management role ensures technical compliance with FAA regulations, manages project schedules, and oversees staff. They often handle complex upgrades, such as full cockpit retrofits, and oversee safety programs.
