Lead responsibilities include guiding and directing a team of electrical liaison engineers and design engineers. - These responsibilities include but are not limited to the development of engineering task requirements, schedules and development of engineering packages in support of outfitting custom aircraft. The lead electrical engineer will coordinate tasks, schedules and design methodologies to build models and prints that demonstrate a complete understanding required for component parts and assemblies to an end item level. Communicate project plans and constraints with leadership to ensure alignment to other projects and initiatives. Proficient in System level Wire Diagram/Schematic design for aircraft. Experience in Electrical System integration related to Aircraft Avionics, Lighting, and Audio/Video Entertainment systems. Lead electrical engineer will be required to liaison with the shop on engineering issues. Lead electrical engineer will employ design standards consistent with company standards and accepted design methods to meet the manufacturing quality and schedule requirements. Lead electrical engineer will support/develop training plans and continuous improvement initiatives for the team. Other Skills - Engineering design work includes the creation of drawings/models using either CATIA V5 or AutoCAD interconnected with SmarTeam. - Knowledge of
CHS / EHI
toolset.

Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in engineering, a related curriculum required.or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job . 5 years related engineering experience with Bachelors. Master's Degree Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years or Ph.D. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 4 years.
