Onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa What You Will Do Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development Drive the architecture, design, and delivery of safety-critical avionics software aligned to civil certification standards (DO-178) Own execution across scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring successful delivery of complex engineering programs Champion engineering excellence by implementing best practices across development, verification, and certification processes Partner cross-functionally with program leadership, systems, and customers to align technical solutions with business and mission objectives Guide and support bid and proposal efforts, shaping technical strategy and estimating scope for new business opportunities Build and maintain a strong team through strategic hiring, workforce planning, and talent development Identify risks early and drive proactive solutions to ensure program success and continuous improvement Willing and Able to travel as required (domestic and international
