This Position reports to:
Technical Consulting Manager II Your role and responsibilities: As the Digital Automation & Control Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. In this role you will be responsible for supervising the execution of Digital Automation & Control (DAC) projects from start to end within the Electrification Services Division ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery Preference is for candidates located in the Sacramento, CA or Cary, NC areas, however we are also open to candidates working remotely in the US. You will be mainly accountable for: Oversee project Execution by building/maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring financial responsibility. Monitor progress, manage risks proactively, and provide clear updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis Strengthen client relationships by understanding their needs and responding quickly and professionally to critical issues. Develop creative, proactive solutions to challenges and communicate technical details in simple, actionable terms. Foster team collaboration and lead post-project lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering (preferred), Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field required. 5+ years of experience in electrical systems, or in the engineering industry, working as a project manager or similar. Sound knowledge of electrical systems and the digital automation market Knowledge of ABB tools (AC500, AMC34, ACS series, PCM600), DIGSI, Power Xpert, CompactLogix/RSLogix, RX3i, PECelite, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to work professionally across all organizational levels; Demonstrated capability to lead and influence customer and peers. PMP certification is a plus Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us:
