Job Description
Engineering Manager Position Summary An industry-leading manufacturer is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their growing team. The Engineering Manager provides technical and people leadership to ensure engineering excellence, consistent standards, and effective project execution. This role focuses on aligning engineering practices and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, efficient, and market-responsive solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of 6 engineers Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to spec Partner with product, operations, and executive leadership to define technical roadmaps and priorities Establish and maintain engineering best practices, including code quality, testing standards, and documentation Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, risks, and resourcing gaps Drive process improvements to increase team efficiency and product reliability Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to equipment services and industrial operations Direct report to the Chief Operating Officer Serve a diverse range of industries across the Midwest and beyond Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an industrial manufacturing-related field 5+ years of engineering management experience Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects Strong technical background with the ability to engage in detailed technical discussions and decisions Strong knowledge in industrial equipment related to HVAC units, heaters, chillers, pumps, and power distribution units.
