Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer to join our team. This role will lead and support the design of residential, commercial, and mixed-use site development projects, from conceptual planning through construction. We're looking for a hands-on engineer who can manage projects independently and work closely with clients and contractors to successfully bring projects from concept to completion. This position is primarily in-office, combining day-to-day collaboration with our team and field visits to project sites. Responsibilities Site design for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, roads, bridges, and storm water facilities. Prepare and review site plans, construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates. Prepare and manage
SPDES/SWPPP/NOI
documentation and other environmental permitting submissions. Utilize GIS and ArcGIS software for mapping and spatial analysis to support project planning. Draft detailed engineering plans and specifications for construction projects. Perform construction inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with architect and other professionals to integrate systems effectively. Coordinate and prepare submittals for municipal planning boards, zoning boards, and regulatory agencies. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication. Skills Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio and Kentucky preferred. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of construction inspection processes and standards. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
