Position Summary:

Engineering Project Leader We're looking for an experienced Engineering Project Leader to take ownership of complex, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects from concept through delivery. This role calls for a strong technical foundation, proven leadership in cross-functional environments, and the ability to balance customer expectations with internal capabilities to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership:

Lead multidisciplinary teams in project management, engineering, and planning to ensure ETO projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Customer Partnership:

Serve as the primary technical and project liaison for customers—translating requirements, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction at every stage.

Change & Scope Management:

Oversee engineering changes and scope adjustments, aligning customer needs with internal resources, cost, and schedule impacts.

Planning & Scheduling:

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

Design Collaboration:

Work closely with systems, fabrication, operations, and sales teams to ensure all designs meet specifications, industry standards, and manufacturability requirements.

Financial Stewardship:

Track budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure profitability targets are achieved.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive process improvements across the ETO lifecycle to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall customer experience.

Reporting:

Provide regular project status reports, risk assessments, and margin analysis to senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred). 7+ years of experience in engineering project management, including 3+ years in an ETO manufacturing environment. Proven success leading the execution of complex, custom-engineered systems or products. Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD tools, ERP systems, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Preferred Attributes Familiarity with ASME, AWS, ISO, or related engineering standards. Experience in industries such as heavy machinery, industrial equipment, aerospace, or custom automation. PMP certification or equivalent project management training. Pay:

$125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
