Job Description Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team. Support new product development from concept through production launch. Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and production methodologies. Oversee engineering documentation, process controls, work instructions, and engineering changes. Partner with production teams to resolve technical and manufacturing challenges. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Quality on PPAPs, process validation, corrective actions, and compliance activities. Manage engineering projects, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional resources. Support tooling development, die design, implementation, and performance improvements. Provide technical support for customer requirements, product applications, and manufacturing optimization efforts. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred. 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment. Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects. Strong background in precision manufacturing, metal stamping, machining, assembly, and tooling. Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD. Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing best practices. Experience within ISO-certified manufacturing environments. Proven success driving process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity gains.
