Job Description

Electrical Project Manager
LOCATION
Stoneham, MA TYPE Direct Hire ID NH33-2755305 POSTED Jun 2, 2026 Electrical contracting firms across New England have been rolling into national platforms and private equity portfolios for over a decade. Our client has not. Family-owned and locally operating for over 4 decades in Metro Boston, the people who built this firm are still running it. A PM here works with ownership, not around them. Design-build and fast-track projects make up the majority of the work, which is a meaningful distinction. This is not execution-only project management. You are engaged from pre-construction, working alongside the GCs, engineers, and architects who have trusted this firm for years. All projects are within driving distance, so there is no overnight travel in this role. The position includes a competitive salary, car allowance, gas card, and company cell phone. The role opened because the project load grew, and the next step from this seat is a senior PM position as that growth continues. Day to day, you will: Manage commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout, including design-build scopes Lead foremen and field crews, with direct supervisory responsibility Track job costs against budget and produce projection reports Coordinate with GCs, engineers, architects, and owners Conduct weekly site visits across your active projects What we are looking for: 4 or more years of electrical project management or foreman experience Field and design-build background required Working knowledge of NEC codes and standards Ability to read construction documents, manage multiple active projects, and lead field personnel OSHA 10 card required; electrical license preferred If you'd like to learn more, reach out
