Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse range of legal practice areas, including personal injury law, administrative hearings and civil rights litigation, civil service, Chapter 93A consumer protection cases, among other areas of law. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in legal research and writing, demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, and have experience with legal drafting and administrative tasks. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through complex legal matters while developing your expertise across multiple practice areas. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist in managing cases across various practice areas such administrative law, personal injury law, litigation, among other areas of law. Participate in client consultations to gather pertinent information and provide clear explanations of legal options. Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable resolutions while maintaining professionalism and adherence to ethical standards. Support the firm's legal administrative processes by maintaining organized case files and tracking deadlines. Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and courtroom proceedings when necessary. Stay current on relevant laws and regulations through ongoing research and professional development activities. Skills Proven experience or strong familiarity with multiple practice areas, Excellent legal research skills using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents. Effective negotiation abilities to advocate for clients' interests confidently. Demonstrated proficiency in legal drafting tailored to specific case needs. Legal administrative experience including managing case files and tracking deadlines efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities independently.
