Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ocean, Software, Systems, etc) from an accredited institution. 5-10 years of practical technical experience in the engineering process, including concept development, analysis, design, drawing, integration and testing of complex mechanical and/or ocean deployed systems. 2+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary design teams. 2+ years of CAM experience and an understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and guidelines to effectively support program planning and performance tracking. Experience implementing and maintaining a variety of project management methodologies to include Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum Must have a US Government DOD Security Clearance Demonstrated ability to: Communicate effectively with stakeholders Present information to stakeholders Develop tools for project engineering needs Use standard Microsoft business applications Learn and conform to industry standards (MIL, ABS, etc.)DESIRED:

Compensation $109,800.00 - $164,600.00 Leads small to midsize multidisciplinary engineering teams—typically 5 to 20 members—by driving day ‑ to ‑ day project execution, coordinating team activities across the full project life cycle, clarifying task dependencies, and ensuring effective communication. Develop and maintain the technical execution roadmap defining system ‑ level milestones and clear completion criteria. Applies Systems Engineering methodologies outlined in the Systems Engineering Master Plan, including requirements management, change management, technical reviews, and design verification activities. Builds relationships within and across teams, manages and mentors less experienced employees. Contribute to planning and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule to ensure engineering tasks are properly sequenced and resourced. Serve as the Control Account Manager for assigned engineering scope, maintaining performance, cost, and schedule integrity. Analyze user requirements and support the development of high ‑ level system architectures and engineering concepts. Identify and develop execution plans to manage functional and system interfaces across mechanical, electrical, software, and mission payload domains. Monitor project execution and engineering productivity metrics, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions as needed. Support the identification, tracking, and mitigation of technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Review engineering work products, including drawings, technical reports, test plans, test procedures, test reports, and other engineering deliverables, to ensure alignment with company standards, industry best practices, and project objectives.
