Akkodis is seeking a New Model Program Launch Engineer for a Contract with a client in Allen Park, MI. Candidates must have program management experience with a proven ability to lead issue resolution and coordinate across multiple teams in a manufacturing or launch environment.

Rate Range:

$32/Hour to $35/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. New Model Program Launch Engineer Responsibilities include: Lead and manage new vehicle and powertrain launch activities to ensure successful program execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify, track, and resolve launch-related issues. Oversee pre-production build events and ensure quality, timing, and program objectives are achieved. Manage pre-production vehicle fleets, including ordering, testing, evaluation, and disposition activities. Prepare and present program status reports, risk assessments, and updates to senior leadership. Support launch budget execution, design change approvals, and smooth team integration into manufacturing plants.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Program Management, or a related technical field. 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project. Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing program issues, and driving resolutions in a manufacturing or launch environment.
