About the Role As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will spearhead technical initiatives to refine production workflows and provide critical expertise for complex product quoting. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by mentoring engineering staff and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies to meet demanding industry standards. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a technical team using a hands-on, collaborative approach to foster professional growth. Design and refine manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency for custom-engineered components. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and execute continuous improvement projects across multiple facilities. Deliver precise technical cost estimations and quoting support for intricate customer designs. Partner with production teams to implement labor-saving techniques and enhance overall operator performance. Oversee the integration of new technologies to streamline operations and improve client-facing documentation. Manage capital equipment projects to modernize production capabilities and maintain safety compliance. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 4-10 years of equivalent professional experience. Advanced proficiency in CAD software for process design and technical quoting. Deep expertise in metal fabrication, stamping, resistance welding, and heat treating. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies. Preferred Skills Direct experience with AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation. Demonstrated success in the aerospace or automotive manufacturing sectors. Experience utilizing ERP and MRP systems to manage production workflows. Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
