Small Projects and Engineering Supervisor - JLL What this job involves: The Small Projects and Engineering Supervisor at JLL manages daily operations of facilities project teams, overseeing small construction projects, engineering support, and space management activities including office moves. This role requires coordinating with clients, vendors, and contractors while tracking budgets, RFPs, and project timelines, as well as providing subject matter expertise on mechanical systems like HVAC, boilers, and chillers. The position involves developing maintenance plans and asset master planning to maximize equipment lifecycle, while documenting all activities in CMMS and ensuring compliance with applicable codes. Candidates need 3+ years of experience leading facilities teams and managing full-cycle construction projects, plus strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. What your day-to-day will look like: Manage daily activities and priorities for the Small projects and Engineering team supporting facilities. Work with clients and internal stake holders to provide excellent service in Project management, Engineering support, Space Management (including office moves). Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, project logistical issues, budget, and scope. Provide SME support for site mechanical systems such as HVAC, Boilers, Chillers etc. Coordinate and track all Vendor Request For Proposals ("RFPs") Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors. Prepare/update project status reports, request purchase orders, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials. Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path. Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors and the relocation of technical functions. Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements, in a timely and cost-effective manner. Document project status and activities in CMMS. Provide teams engineering support for facilities maintenance team focusing on maintenance engineering and Reliability engineering best practices Develop Maintenance plans for assets to ensure maximum life cycle Assist in developing asset master planning for capital expenditures Liaison with vendors, A&E, firms ensuring client assets and infrastructure is appropriate and meets appropriate codes. Provide SME support for site mechanical systems such as HVAC, Boilers, Chillers etc. Required Qualifications 3+ years of leading and supervising team of facilities professionals and engineer 3+ years of full cycle construction project management experience Ability to prepare and track budgets Understanding technical requirements for business relocation, construction, and renovation projects Able to adapt and prioritize meeting deadlines in a fast-paced team or an independent environment Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client representatives, and team members Proficiency with
