Electrical Project Manager - Industrial Serve Electric | Sterling Heights, MI |
Full-Time Required:
Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Michigan) About the Role Serve Electric is a growing industrial electrical contractor based in Michigan, and we're looking for a seasoned Electrical Project Manager who knows the local industrial landscape, holds a valid electrician's license, and can lead field crews while helping us win new work. This isn't just a desk job, you'll be on jobsites managing complex industrial electrical projects, reading control circuits and drawings, supervising technicians, and serving as the trusted point of contact for customers. Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$95,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience Bonus potential Insurance benefits: medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, STD/LTD 401(k) retirement plan w/ matching Company vehicle & gas card Company cell phone and laptop Paid time off and paid holidays What You'll Do Electrical Project Leadership Plan, schedule, and manage industrial electrical projects from kickoff through closeout Read and interpret control circuits, control panels, and electrical drawings Oversee and/or perform ESA upgrades to machines and equipment Supervise and support multiple field technicians across active job sites Monitor project budgets and schedules; address scope changes and conflicts as they arise Accurately estimate labor, materials, and time; deliver on those estimates Manage work orders and review/approve invoices Customer Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for customers Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts Identify and quote additional work opportunities within current customer accounts Represent Serve Electric in a way that builds trust and opens doors for future work Safety & Quality Lead by example with a strong commitment to NEC code compliance and safe work practices Drive quality and efficiency standards across all electrical projects What You Bring Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required) 6+ years of hands-on electrical experience, preferably in an industrial environment 3+ years managing electrical projects end-to-end Solid working knowledge of NEC code Experience supervising field technicians and managing project budgets Clear communicator who can manage customer expectations and deliver on commitments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic computer skills for work orders, invoicing, scheduling About Serve Electric Serve Electric is a multi-dimensional industrial electrical contractor serving customers across the United States.
