This role drives enterprise optimization, operating discipline, and continuous improvement to enable sustainable growth, margin improvement, and cross-business consistency-without adding bureaucracy. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Optimization & Value Creation Lead business unit initiatives that improve profitability, asset utilization, capital efficiency, and execution reliability Eliminate structural inefficiencies, complexity, and organizational friction Manage a prioritized portfolio of OE initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy Growth & Scalability Enablement Assess operational readiness for acquisitions, integrations, capital investments, and major initiatives Design scalable, repeatable operating models that enable growth with speed and discipline Ensure leadership capacity and capabilities support growth objectives Operating Model, Process & Systems Design and deploy fit-for-purpose operating systems, metrics, and performance management Optimize end-to-end processes across operations, engineering, maintenance, procurement, and support functions Integrate digital and systems investments to improve decision-making and frontline execution Safety, Risk & Standardization (with EHS) Embed safety expectations into operating models, governance, and leadership routines Enable enterprise standardization of best practices while respecting regulatory and operational differences Strengthen learning, knowledge-sharing, and execution follow-through Performance, Talent & Change Leadership (with HR) Support enterprise performance management, operating rhythms, and governance Partner on leadership development, succession, and organizational effectiveness Lead change management for major enterprise initiatives to ensure adoption and sustained results Success Measures Improved enterprise profitability, reliability, and execution discipline Scalable operating models that support growth and integration Strong leadership routines, performance transparency, and cultural alignment
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, supply chain, or related technical field 15+ years progressive operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise transformation experience 7-10+ years leading large, cross-functional teams or enterprise initiatives Why Ergon?
