This role is ideal for a senior project management leader with a strong background in utility-scale gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) facilities and a passion for building teams, strengthening client relationships, and delivering successful power projects. You'll oversee a portfolio of complex combined cycle projects, guide project management teams, and partner closely with clients, Operations, and Business Development to drive safe, profitable, and high-quality project execution. What You'll DoCombined Cycle Project Leadership Lead the execution of combined cycle power generation projects , including greenfield plants, expansions, and major upgrades Oversee all project phases—from early planning and engineering through construction, commissioning, and startup Ensure projects meet cost, schedule, quality, and contract commitments Own financial performance for assigned projects, including margin and cash flow Team Leadership & Talent Development Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and future leaders within the power organization Support recruiting, staffing, and training to meet combined cycle project demands Foster a collaborative, high-performing project delivery environment Customer & Business Engagement Build strong relationships with power industry clients, including utilities, developers, and OEM partners Support business development efforts focused on combined cycle and gas-fired generation opportunities Participate in contract negotiations and change order discussions Represent Zachry's combined cycle capabilities in client meetings and industry events Strategy & Best Practices Help advance project management best practices for combined cycle EPC execution Collaborate with leaders across Zachry offices to align on execution strategy and enterprise goals Support proposal development, execution planning, and project team formation What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline 15+ years of industry experience , including 10+ years managing combined cycle power generation projects Proven experience leading utility-scale combined cycle EPC projects , including multi-discipline engineering and vendor management Experience managing projects involving gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), balance-of-plant systems, and electrical/I&C integration Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 5 or more professionals Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with overseas or High-Value Engineering (HVE) teams Prior involvement in commissioning and startup of combined cycle facilities Why Join Zachry?
