This individual will lead cutting-edge automation projects in the meat processing industry, collaborating closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions. The Project Engineering Manager will tackle complex challenges, turning visionary concepts into reality. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the
Project Engineering Manager:
Develop preliminary designs and specifications for engineering and materials Conduct research and economic studies to ensure cost-effective designs Create as-built drawings to document final outcomes Review engineering projects for accuracy Coordinate project schedules with various stakeholders Provide direction to equipment vendors Review work products submitted by consultants Maintain comprehensive project documentation Conduct pre-project studies to assess feasibility Prepare requests for proposals and evaluate received proposals Submit detailed reports to management Manage contract administration Prepare essential project documents Monitor installations to ensure compliance with specifications Continuous improvement in robotic and controls knowledge Education & Experience Requirements of the
Project Engineering Manager:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field 5+ years of relevant experience 2+ years of leadership experience Sound engineering principles knowledge Experience in project scheduling and budget management Project Management and Contract Administration skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word processing software Ability to travel 50% of the time Knowledge of engineering principles related to the meat industry Experience in managing multi-million dollar projects Strong teamwork skills in a dynamic environment
