Job Summary AME, Inc. is seeking a seasoned construction leader to take the helm of our General Contracting Division. This is a high?impact, hands?on management role overseeing operations, financial performance, project delivery, and team development within a growing industrial and precision concrete environment.

What You'll Lead Division Operations:

Oversee all industrial and heavy civil projects, ensuring safe, high?quality, and consistent execution.

Financial Performance:

Own forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and gross margin improvement.

People Leadership:

Coach and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams; support recruiting and succession planning.

Customer Success:

Maintain strong executive?level client relationships and resolve escalated issues.

Business Growth:

Support estimating, strategic pursuits, backlog development, and market expansion.

Continuous Improvement:

Standardize processes, implement KPIs, leverage technology, and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Direct multiple concurrent projects and lead planning, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation. Manage division financials, project health, risk, cash flow, and KPIs. Interpret architectural/engineering plans and communicate technical details. Oversee contracts, change orders, documentation, and compliance. Prepare estimates, quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and major proposals. Coordinate with customers, design engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure OSHA compliance and uphold company safety standards. Identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives. Required Qualifications 7+ years of progressive leadership in precision concrete, industrial, or heavy civil construction Experience with precision concrete in industrial facilities Proven ability to estimate and manage pit work Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects Strong financial, contractual, and operational management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive?level presentation skills OSHA certification and valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors Lean Construction or continuous improvement background Prior P&L responsibility Compensation & Benefits Annual discretionary bonus Automobile allowance and mileage reimbursement Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contributions Paid holidays and PTO
