- Uphold PMI standards, legal requirements, and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) guidelines.
- Provide on-floor quality support for Reduced Risk Products, ensuring compliance with PMI standards.
- Oversee self-inspection activities using sampling plans, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and digital tools such as Zoom QC.
- Support investigations, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for product and process non-conformities using IOS problem-solving tools.
- Ensure timely resolution of product and material non-conformities through NC-CAPA processes.
- Approve or reject non-conformities and action plans as required.
- Assist in creating and reviewing procedures, work instructions, and quality documents.
- Provide recommendations that support performance objectives and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives using IOS tools to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance processes.
- Monitor LOGD costs for semi-finished and finished goods, ensuring timely screening, decisions, and cost booking.
- Resolve critical consumer complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction and process impact assessment.
- Lead and develop a skilled, motivated team aligned with PMI's leadership model.
- Develop qualification matrices and training pathways for all roles.
- Facilitate collaboration across Quality Systems and cross-functional teams to enhance organizational effectiveness. Who we're looking for:
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical, or similar FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Proficiency in ISO, GMP, GCP, ICH, and GLP standards.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly MS Office; FDA inspection experience is a plus.
