Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Construction President to lead our general contracting operations in Omaha, NE. The role if full P&L over all Midwestern operations. The firm performs commercial, institutional, healthcare, life sciences and light industrial projects. This executive role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, overseeing complex construction projects, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in construction management, business leadership, and strategic planning, with a passion for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. As the face of our organization, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage executive teams, and steer the company toward sustained success in a competitive market. We will consider candidates with a strong construction operations background who have not functioned as a president but are able to transition into the role. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to all construction operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and long-term goals. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market presence and increase project portfolio. Lead executive-level teams across project management, operations, finance, marketing, and business development to foster collaboration and operational excellence. Manage high-level client relationships, including engagement with board members, partners, and key stakeholders to secure new opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships. Oversee financial management at the executive level, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. Drive marketing initiatives and business development efforts focused on expanding the company's footprint within the Omaha region and beyond. Cultivate a strong organizational culture emphasizing leadership development, team management, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in corporate strategy development within the construction or construction management industries. Extensive executive leadership background with demonstrated success managing large teams and complex projects. Strong business management skills encompassing financial oversight, operational management, and strategic planning. Experience supervising diverse teams across multiple departments with a focus on collaboration and leadership development. Knowledge of nonprofit financial management is a plus; familiarity with nonprofit operations can enhance strategic initiatives. Demonstrated ability in fundraising for business development or nonprofit contexts is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with experience working closely with board members and senior leadership teams. Ability to develop innovative strategies for growth while maintaining operational integrity and safety standards.
