Technical Leader

We have an outstanding career opportunity for aTechnical Leader to join a leading Company located in thePortsmouth, NH or Concord, NHsurrounding area. This role is responsible for coordinating design deliverables, solving complex engineering problems, mentoring team members, supporting project managers, and helping ensure high-quality technical output across assignments. The Technical Leader will lead technical decision making , oversee design calculations and documents, support standards and templates, coordinate project team members and subconsultants, conduct QA/QC design reviews, and stay involved during construction to support field questions and issue resolution . This role may also perform Project Manager or Senior Project Manager duties when needed. Travel is required.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Lead technical decision-making and design solutions. + Direct preparation of drawings and specifications. + Conduct QA/QC design reviews. + Coordinate project team members and subconsultants. + Support PMs and SPMs with technical engineering leadership. + Support construction issue resolution and field questions. + Mentor junior engineers.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

+ Bachelor of Science degree in engineering required. + Master of Science degree in engineering or science preferred. + Valid Professional Engineer license in the state employed . + Minimum ten years of experience with five years in a related engineering or technically focused role. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. + Preferred experience with Bluebeam, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, HydroCAD, and BioWin. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. + 10 Hour OSHA Training Certificate.
