  • Full-time Anta Electric, Inc, is a woman owned electronic contract manufacturer located in NJ and NY.
We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager at our facility in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. The Engineering Manager oversees a team of engineers responsible for developing manufacturing and assembly processes, reinforcing all engineering standards. Work directly with clients providing advice and acting as a resource. Maintain the proper functionality of a product and the efficiency of cost. Support teamwork working cross functionally with manufacturing, purchasing and the quality team.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Minimum BS Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • 10+ years of Engineering and Manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years Supervision/Management and or work-related experience.
  • Ability to multitask within a engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Able to understand and interpret customer, electrical and mechanical drawings able to interpret GD&T.
  • Technical skills in quality assurance, manufacturing, machining processes and quoting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, knowledge of SolidWorks
  • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
  • Hire, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes meet quality IPC, UL, standards familiar with UL 508A.
  • Familiar with ISO requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
  • Utilize technical expertise to support estimate project scope, time and costs for customer enquiries.
  • Able to support customer questions and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Must be flexible and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$90,000.00
  • $110,000.
