Job Description:
We are representing a globally recognized
FORTUNE 500
manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a senior level Engineering Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over a 50+ employee department while working closely with Senior leadership. This is an 1,200+ employee campus, $1.2B campus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Engineering Manager will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 50+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership Drive continuous improvement initiatives including scrap reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization The Site Engineering Director would maintain (own) end to end (cradle to grave) engineering ownership of 1,200+ employee campus Responsible for the training and development of staff Work cross functionally, partnering with different internal departments including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of launch program Develop and mentor high-potential engineering talent while building a strong technical ben Act as the technical liaison between tooling suppliers, manufacturing operations, and customers Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objective Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Engineering/Technical degree is required for consideration Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
