full-time Director of Engineering - Power Infrastructure A growing energy infrastructure business is looking for a senior engineering leader to support large-scale power projects for data centres and other high-demand customers. The role will lead engineering from early development through construction support, with a focus on behind-the-meter generation, battery storage and hybrid power solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Lead technical design and engineering across power projects Assess project feasibility, risk and constructability Work with EPCs, OEMs, utilities and external engineering partners Review technical designs, equipment selections and engineering contracts Support procurement, commercial discussions and project delivery Develop engineering standards and repeatable project solutions Candidate profile: 12+ years in power generation or energy infrastructure Experience with gas generation, turbines, engines, fuel cells and/or BESS Strong EPC/EPCM and large-project delivery experience Comfortable working across engineering, development and commercial teams Strong communicator with commercial awareness
