full-time An established electrical company is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at our Long Island City office.
Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion Perform pre-construction planning, including submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings Prepare and issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors Attend site meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams Oversee project scheduling, manpower allocation, and material management Manage change orders and ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager in the electrical field Strong knowledge of low-voltage (LV) systems and fire alarm systems Proficient in computer applications relevant to project management Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NYC electrical codes Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems for both residential and commercial turnkey projects Please provide a list of completed projects for the references.
