You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The Front Desk Receptionist will complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Greet patients as they arrive Check in/check out of appointments Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Check with patients and type up patients charts (data entry) Answer inbound phone calls Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Other duties as assigned Requirements 1-2 years of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist/Admin Assistant/Secretary, etc. High School Diploma or GED Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office Healthcare/medical experience a plus (but not required)
