Responsibilities:
Daily interface and coordination with planning portfolio engineers, client management and client sponsors to develop the long-range integrated portfolio plan based on existing projects and Planning strategies Ensure synergies across projects are incorporated into the portfolio of work Attend budget planning meetings with different client stakeholders (general managers, supervisors, etc.) and ensure the incorporation of the long-range plan Work with multiple client stakeholders to determine budget year for transmission projects based on feasibility, budget, and need Review client sponsors' projects and ensure project is supported by proper justification Create conceptual estimates and schedules by working with sponsors and Project Managers on their requests Support the client in the development of the 10-year plan Help create and compile the clients rate filing for PJM Review tabletop engineering estimates for accuracy and scope Work with outage coordination to assemble a set of regional projects that do no cause conflicts including incorporating project constructability and the long-term plan Informal mentoring and training of client's portfolio engineers on T&D Design and projects Interface with client's accounting group to establish financial setup for projects Create analyses & reports to assist the client in tracking, coordination, and execution of projects Build baseline scopes, schedules, and budgets to be released to multiple client's stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Required High attention to detail and organization Excellent communication skills and professional etiquette Ability to coordinate projects across multiple organizations during the project initiation 1 year field assignment to Akron, OH preferred; will discuss support from BMcD office with monthly travel to
