This role oversees all business development initiatives, project execution excellence, talent development, and alignment with corporate goals. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in chemical processing industries, strong EPC/EPCm leadership experience, and a proven track record of building and scaling technical business units. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Growth Develop and execute the long-term strategic plan for Jedson's Chemical vertical, including growth targets, market positioning, and service offerings. Drive P&L performance, ensuring profitable growth across all chemical-sector projects. Identify and capture new markets, clients, and technology opportunities within the chemical industry. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key chemical industry clients. Lead pursuit strategies for major EPCm/EPC opportunities and oversee proposal development. Represent Jedson at industry events, conferences, and professional associations. Operational Excellence Oversee project delivery and ensure technical quality, safety, schedule adherence, and financial performance. Partner with Project Directors and discipline leadership to ensure execution best practices. Support implementation of work processes, project controls, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct executive-level project reviews with PMs, GM, COO, and CFO, evaluating project performance and initiating corrective actions when needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery processes, tools, and standards across the vertical. Team Leadership & Development Provide visible, engaged leadership for project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence. Lead, mentor, and grow the Chemical vertical's project teams, discipline leaders, and emerging talent. Collaborate with HR and executive leadership to support recruiting, succession planning, and workforce development. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline required; advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in the Chemical industry, including EPC/EPCm project delivery. Proven executive-level leadership experience managing large projects, business units, or verticals. Demonstrated success in client development, revenue growth, and P&L ownership. Strong understanding of chemical process technologies, regulatory environments, and industrial safety standards. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and strategic decision-making skills. Preferred Experience Experience working within a consulting/EPCm organization. Strong network of relationships across petrochemical, specialty chemical, or industrial chemical markets. Prior leadership of multi-discipline engineering teams.
