Job Description

Job Description Summary Join our Engineering team as a Senior Program Manager at the center of how we design, deliver, and continuously improve. In this senior role, you will own and drive high-impact, complex initiatives that make our Engineering function faster, smarter, and more effective at scale. You will be the strategic connector between Engineering and cross-functional partners, shaping how we use metrics, dashboards, processes, and tools to execute our most critical programs and portfolios. You will set direction as well as execute, leading large, cross-functional programs, influencing priorities, and ensuring alignment on outcomes, timelines, and resources. You'll be expected to challenge the status quo, introduce better ways of working, mentor others, and play a visible leadership role in how we operate.
Job Description Role Overview:
Provide end-to-end leadership for complex, cross-functional, technology-driven, or product-focused programs from concept through launch and sustainment, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and customers. Own and optimize program portfolios, budgets, and resources, partnering with contractors, suppliers, customers, and senior internal stakeholders to set direction, manage trade-offs, and deliver on commitments. Lead program governance by managing schedules, budgets, risk registers, and tollgate processes for NPI, requisition, or sustaining programs, ensuring milestones are met and risks are proactively identified, mitigated, and communicated. Translate business strategy and customer CTQs into executable roadmaps, influencing program scope, architecture, and technical decisions so deliverables meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Shape technical and program strategy within your domain, leveraging deep expertise to influence standards, practices, and long-term direction. Develop and apply an advanced understanding of key business drivers, using this insight to prioritize investments, structure programs, and make decisions that benefit the broader organization, not just your immediate area. Exercise independent judgment on ambiguous, high-impact problems, creating structure where none exists, setting decision frameworks, and proposing innovative solutions beyond established approaches. Use data-driven, analytical thinking to lead, establishing and tracking KPIs, using metrics and dashboards to run programs, and driving transparent, fact-based decision-making. Lead and build talent, providing coaching, mentoring, and informal/formal leadership to project managers and engineers; fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Act as a key voice for Engineering with senior stakeholders, clearly communicating status, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations. This role is ideal for a seasoned program manager who enjoys owning outcomes end-to-end, influencing strategy, and leading teams through complex, multi-stakeholder challenges.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering (preferably mechanical/manufacturing/aerospace) bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college 5+ years of engineering program/project management experience, including significant experience leading complex cross-functional programs
Preferred Qualifications:
We're looking for a senior leader who brings: Exceptional communication and executive presence
  • able to engage clearly and confidently with senior leaders, customers, and both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • experienced in breaking down complex, multi-variable issues, framing options, and driving them to resolution. Proven program and project management
  • track record of planning, structuring, and delivering large, multi-phase programs; skilled in governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. Strong ownership and bias for action
  • operates with urgency, anticipates issues, and consistently drives programs forward to completion. High collaboration and influence
  • able to build trust, align diverse stakeholders, resolve conflict, and create momentum across functions and geographies. Coaching and mentoring mindset
  • committed to developing others, sharing best practices, and lifting overall program management capability across the organization.
