Job Description

We are seeking a Product Engineering Manager for a full-time role based in Miamisburg, Ohio. This position combines technical engineering expertise with people leadership, overseeing product design and development while managing and mentoring an engineering team. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of low-voltage switchboards, panelboards, and electrical distribution equipment Manage and mentor engineering team members Oversee product development projects from concept through commercialization Ensure compliance with UL 891, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards Manage UL certification processes and serve as primary point of contact with UL representatives Collaborate across functions including manufacturing, quality, sales, and customer support Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and gather feedback Utilize CAD tools to support design reviews and product documentation Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 7-10+ years of experience designing low-voltage switchboards, panelboards, or electrical distribution equipment 3+ years of people leadership or engineering management experience Deep knowledge of UL 891, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards Experience developing products for data center environments Experience managing UL certification processes and working directly with UL representatives Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage directly with customers Preferred Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
