Header Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive process improvements, oversee manufacturing projects, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing our production facilities, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and implementing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies to support our growth. Header Responsibilities Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety across multiple facilities. Manage project scheduling, ensuring timely execution of process improvement projects and new product launches. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues, implementing effective corrective actions using tools like Six Sigma and industrial troubleshooting techniques. Oversee CAD design activities utilizing AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD software for tooling, fixtures, and process layouts. Program and maintain industrial automation systems including robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), vision inspection systems, and industrial equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality assurance, production, tooling, fabrication, and supply chain to streamline processes. Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement programs, and
ISO 9001
standards to elevate operational excellence. Lead team members in welding, assembly line optimization, fabrication processes, tooling development, and process engineering initiatives. Utilize engineering data analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), safety regulations, and industry standards throughout manufacturing operations. Header Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced production environment. Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of successfully leading manufacturing projects from conception through implementation. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding, fabrication, assembly, tooling design, CAM programming, and industrial automation. Strong background in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with schematics and technical drawings is essential. Expertise in robotics programming, vision inspection systems, welding techniques, and industrial equipment troubleshooting. Familiarity with Lean management principles, Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and process improvement strategies. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams towards shared goals. Ability to analyze complex engineering data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives. $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
