In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory environments to ensure seamless access, security, and performance across our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will support the organization's digital backbone, enabling efficient system operations and robust security protocols. Responsibilities Manage and administer Active Directory and Entra ID services, including user account provisioning, group policies, and organizational units to ensure secure and efficient access control. Design and implement directory architecture solutions aligned with organizational needs, ensuring scalability and reliability. Perform system tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to optimize Active Directory performance and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems such as Azure AD, VMware, and cloud services like AWS and Azure. Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash to improve operational efficiency. Oversee server backup and recovery processes for directory services to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity. Maintain system security by implementing information security best practices, managing firewalls, VPNs, DNS configurations, and access controls. Experience Proven experience in Windows Server administration with a focus on Active Directory management in enterprise environments. Strong background in system architecture design, configuration management, and systems engineering related to IT infrastructure. Hands-on experience with server backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and system troubleshooting across diverse platforms including UNIX/Linux systems. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi or Hyper-V, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS or Azure. Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks along with experience in software implementation and administration. Understanding of network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, RESTful APIs, VPNs, load balancing techniques, firewalls, and computer networking fundamentals. Experience working within Agile SDLC frameworks using tools like Jenkins or Git for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Additional skills in solution architecture involving NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), SQL variants (MySQL/PostgreSQL), microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and information security principles are highly desirable.
