Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:
  • Maintain Design Engineering project portfolio schedule for designated region and/or Engineering discipline.
  • Provide Design Engineering reporting on project list, scope and status of assignments.
  • Coordinate Design Engineering project status updates on STT (Smart Turnaround Tool) using inputs from Excel, Access, and Power BI.
  • Facilitate Design Engineering change requests to re-baseline project schedules.
  • Create and manage Design Engineering metrics to ensure delivery of performance targets.
  • Facilitate and monitor Design Engineering resource planning (LRP, EPEF, histograms).
  • Conduct analysis of company performance metrics including financial, operational, and customer metrics.
  • Develop and maintain performance management dashboards and reports that provide visibility into the company's performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure performance metrics are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and measure performance against key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Provide guidance and support in setting performance goals, developing action plans, and monitoring progress towards objectives.
Required Skills/Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Intermediate level understanding of Primavera P6 to use filters and layouts to build reports, create histograms, and assess schedules.
  • Experience with WBS (work breakdown structure) and relationships/logic among activities that drive the dates in a P6 project schedule.
  • Ability to organize large data sets on Excel using formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills to manage dialogue with cross-functional teams and across different levels of management.
  • 5 years schedule updating and reporting experience on P6.
  • 7 years preparing or supporting performance data analysis/reporting.
Desired Skills/Attributes:
  • Experience with design engineering and/or construction schedules.
  • Strong Project Controls experience.
  • Proficiency in Access, SAP, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Certifications in Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma.
