Job Description As an Electronic Assembly Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for supporting the industrialization of new products within electronic assembly environments. You will drive new product introduction activities, oversee engineering resource management, and help improve time-to-market through effective execution, talent development, and organizational leadership. You will report to Jim Rondeau and have a hybrid work schedule.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a multi-functional engineering team focused on new product introduction of printed circuit board assemblies, process execution, and technology deployment across multiple projects. Oversee and support core industrialization activities including Design for Excellence (DfX), product data readiness, prototype line execution, and product cost estimation. Establish organizational goals and KPIs to measure, monitor, and improve team effectiveness and business performance. Manage engineering resources by assigning and allocating work based on project priorities, schedules, skill development objectives, and time-to-market requirements. Drive technical and leadership development within the engineering organization while ensuring accountability for program and production success. The Essentials -
You Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. The Preferred -
You Might Also Have:
5 + years of experience managing engineering teams supporting industrialization and new product introduction activities in an electronic assembly environment. Experience overseeing manufacturing engineering processes including product cost estimation, manufacturing design plans, tooling recommendations, and process requirements. Experience leading global engineering organizations and executing strategies across multiple internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing engineering resource planning processes, tools, and workforce allocation. Experience supporting prototype line execution, PCBA delivery, and manufacturing readiness activities. Experience establishing organizational KPIs and driving process improvements that support improved time-to-market.
