Senior Engineering Manager - Service Management Best Buy - 3.8 Minneapolis, MN Job Details Full-time $121,050 - $216,650 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Vendor management Systems & applications support Full Job Description Senior Engineering Manager - Service Management As the Service Management Senior Manager, you will be responsible for insuring operational stability of assigned applications.
Areas of focus:
application stability, major incident restoration, incident and problem management, SOX and PCI compliance, holiday readiness, and disaster recovery. This role will work closely with the product and delivery teams to transition new or updated applications into production. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. What you'll do Ensure application stability specific to assigned Logistics and Supply Chain systems Manage major incident resolution and reduction specific to Logistics and Supply Chain systems Manage prioritization and resolution of Incident and Problem tickets for Logistics and Supply Chain systems Proactively drive and implement service improvements, innovations, and efficiencies within the scope of capabilities Share operations metrics/reports/data to key stakeholders and leadership, holding regular reviews with stakeholder group to assess the quality of services delivered Basic qualifications 3 or more years of experience in IT Support Operations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with onshore/offshore 3rd party vendor support Experience in 24x7 Operations role Preferred qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT or business-related field 5 or more years of experience in technology operations roles 1 or more years of leadership experience in technology roles Project management experience What's in it for you We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
